November 8th . . .
Hawks Fight Hard With Hazlet.
On a beautiful 70 degree, November day, with fall foliage all around, the Hawks fought with all their hearts against Hazlet. The Hawks dominated play in the first half, but Hazlet picked up speed in the second half and managed to get one in the net to win the game. Final score Hazlet 1, Hawks 0. Despite the end result, the Hawks should be proud - they played great!!

Terrific team work, defense, and offensive moves were the key to this exciting game. Hawks played their game!

Rain, mud, and flooded fields have slowed the Hawks season with cancelled games and practices. Yet one wet, wet day, they took home 2nd place trophies at the Mount Olive Halloween Tournament! Now . . . on to some sun dances and sun salutations as we NEED to play this weekend - Game time 4:45pm at VoTech vs. Westfield!

HAWKS FLY HIGH ABOVE THE HEAT.
The Hawks traveled to their neighbors’ home turf to battle once again with the Westfield Heat on Sunday, September 27, 2009. Friendly rivals, Westfield and Scotch Plains always enjoy a match-up and the bragging rights that come after a win. Both teams showed up for the game ready for action. Despite the strange weather - rain, clouds, sun, rain, clouds, sun . . . both teams battled to the end. The Hawks kicked in an early goal and the fans held their breath as the strong Hawks’ defense kept the Heat away. The Hawks flew away with the much deserved win! Great game Hawks!!

Spf Hawks battle through a tie with Milburn Sting.
The SPF Hawks began the weekend with a battle on the grounds of Milburn High School. Two very equally matched teams struggled to maintain control of the ball. The Hawks led early (1-0) until the Sting managed two goals in a row. With less than a minute to play, the Hawks regrouped with a fast break and goal to tie the game.
