Web Tools A good deal of information is passed around the internet via email and stored as documents on various websites that cannot be "read" by your browser (you need a program in addition to your browser in order to read it). You will know you have one of those when your browser tells you it "can't read the document" or the document is in an unknown format. Many of the common document formats have free "readers" provided by the vendor. Links to some of those free readers are below.
